Anli Su
Anli Su a professor, choreographer, teacher, performer, and is currently the head of dance department at Chinese Culture University. She received her MA degree in dance from the Chinese Culture University and her M.F.A degree in dance from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1993.
She taught improvisation, choreography and contemporary technique in the Dance department of Chinese Culture University. From 1993, Anli joined Ku and Dancers Company, where she is now the vice artistic director and principle dancer and choreographer. Anli has choreographed and performed with many dance companies in Taiwan, including Image the Motion Theater Company, 1/2 Q theatre, and Sun-Shier Dance Theatre, Taipei Capital Ballet, and deeply involved in the education and performance of contact improvisation.
In 2006, Anli was invited to participate in the first international contact improvisation dance documentary film in Italy. She was the representative of Taiwan in the performance of Little Asia Dance Networking in 2002. Her works has been performed by Wha-Kang Dance Troupe from 2006-2023.
